Klimbing Kiosk
During my time working for Dick's Sporting Goods I, initially as a side project, created a React-Native application called Klimbing Kiosk that provides useful climbing information to beginners at the Public Lands store in Cranberry, Pennsylvania. The kiosk running the android app is placed in front of the in store climbing wall. This was chosen because the main interface for navigating between screens is an image of the climbing wall. Some features include a screen about top roping, a screen for those feeling nervous about climbing, and a modal for learning how to rest properly.
The application uses Azure Application Insights to get feedback on what/how often customers interact with the kiosk and to what screens or modals. It builds an apk artifact automatically through the use of Github Actions.
