VR Self Driving Studies

Cross Cultural Driving Simulator

Autonomous vehicles have issues dealing with ambiguous driving scenarios, such as when two or more cars arrive at a four way intersection at the same time. These ambiguities grow when self-driving cars are placed in other countries with unique traffic laws and driver behaviors.

So, I've been working with FAR-Labs on their virtual reality driving simulator, which is meant to collect data on these scenarios. Specifically, I've been running New York City studies and writing detailed documentation for future users.
